Offers Two-Part Homebuyer Education Class
Starting August 2nd in Fort Wayne
Fort Wayne, IN (July 19, 2017) – The Pathfinder HomeOwnership Center is offering a two-part Home Buyer Education class on Wednesday, August 2nd and 9th from 5:30 P.M. until 9:30 P.M. at their Fort Wayne office located at 1005 W. Rudisill Blvd, Suite 301.
The eight hour class will focus on reviewing what is necessary to become successful home buyers and home owners. The Pathfinder HomeOwnership Center follows the NeighborWorks curriculum, “Realizing the American Dream”, which is used by home buyer educators across the United States.

All Pathfinder HomeOwnership Center instructors are certified by NeighborWorks America and the Indiana Housing & Community Development Authority as home buyer educators and counselors.
Potential home buyers include individuals who have never owned a home, have owned a home but no longer live there due to divorce, have always rented or lived with family members, have a good credit record, earn 50-80% of the area’s median income, and want to own a home but believe they cannot afford it.
Pathfinder Home Ownership Center is the community development division of Pathfinder Services and was created in 1997. Pathfinder Home Ownership Center is a certified NeighborWorks HomeOwnership Center with offices in Huntington and Fort Wayne. The division guides potential home buyers through the entire process of pre-purchase education, financial capabilities, homebuyer education, loan packaging and closing, post-purchase counseling and foreclosure prevention if needed, free tax preparation, individual development accounts, community building and organization, and an auto buying program. Pathfinder Home Ownership Center serves Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, Jay, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Marshall, Noble, St. Joe, Starke, Steuben, Wabash, Wells and Whitley Counties.
