New Provincial Leadership for the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ
DONALDSON, IN – On Sunday, July 9, 2017, the Poor Handmaids’ newly elected Provincial Leadership Team of the American Province was installed during Mass in Ancilla Domini Chapel.
Sister Judith Diltz, Provincial, and Sisters Michele Dvorak, Joetta Huelsmann and Margaret Anne Henss, Councilors made their commitment to carry out their new responsibilities asking God for the strength to do their ministry.
This Provincial Leadership team will guide the congregation to accomplish the focus and calls set forth at the PHJC Chapter earlier this year.
Poor Handmaid of Jesus Christ delegates elected the Leadership Team at the conclusion of the congregation’s governance meeting, Provincial Chapter in April 2017 in Donaldson. This team will govern and spiritually lead the American Province of the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ Congregation until 2021.
The Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ are an international congregation of apostolic women religious within the Roman Catholic Church. Poor Handmaid Sisters minister in Germany, England, the Netherlands, India, Nigeria, Kenya, the United States, Mexico and Brazil.
